A seasoned professional athlete from Munford, TN, and Murray State University Hall of Fame inductee, he brings six years of top-level experience and a passion for empowering communities. Committed to education, youth programs, and health and wellness, he uses his platform to inspire the next generation of athletes and leaders through teamwork, perseverance, and positive change.
VP - Phil Morant
John Philip “Uncle Phil” Morant brings 18 years of telecommunications experience with Comcast/Xfinity and Spectrum. Now leading Morant Enterprises Inc., he oversees business strategy, partnerships, and growth initiatives, leveraging his expertise in operations, marketing, and community engagement. He is also involved with Catch12 Productions.
James Harvey Jr
James Harvey, Jr. is a Memphis native and founder of The Harvey Group, brokered by Keller Williams Realty. A leader in luxury real estate, he has sold over $100 million in properties, specializing in high-end homes and working with professional athletes and clients across the country. Passionate about mentoring and philanthropy, James is active on several boards in the Memphis community and recently expanded his business with a new office in Atlanta, Georgia.
Jennifer Turner
Jennifer Turner is an educator with 30+ years of teaching and coaching experience at Tipton County Schools and Dyersburg State. A former leader in healthcare administration, she holds master’s degrees in Secondary Education and Finance and serves on the Celebrate Munford Board. A longtime Munford resident, Jennifer is also a passionate runner and coach, helping athletes achieve their fitness goals while promoting student-centered learning and community involvement.
Thomas Caruthers
Dr. Caruthers serves as a board member, bringing over 20 years of experience as a physician. A graduate of Meharry Medical College, he believes good health is our greatest asset and that physical activity is key to mental well-being, strength, and overall quality of life.
